CAIRO METRO LINE 3 PHASE 3

Phase 3 represents a major extension of Cairo Metro Line 3 and an important component of the continued expansion of the capital’s metropolitan transportation network. The programme comprises approximately 17.7 km of new railway infrastructure and 15 stations across underground, elevated and at-grade sections.

Delivered through three sub-phases, the programme incorporates extensive civil works alongside rail systems, power, track works, rolling stock and supporting infrastructure, requiring the coordination of numerous technical disciplines within a dense urban environment.

Project management and technical assistance services supported the National Authority for Tunnels through project monitoring, programme controls and coordinated delivery, helping manage the interfaces between the various civil, systems and operational packages forming this complex urban rail programme.
